"Hide-Away Lake" 8x16 acrylic on masonite
Well, I did it. The water in this piece is everything I'd hoped for. I was having such fun working on this piece, I kept after it far longer today than I usually work. I love what I do!
The water is exceptional and the reflection of light on the water is sparking! Very nice my friend. This duck reminds me of another painting (photograph) that we let get away a few years back, do you remember it?
I hope you have it there Saturday, I need to see this up front and personal.
See Jim, you had to go through one of those 'ruff spots', lagging and questioning and wondering. But look what you came up with! It's an outstanding work. The water is, well downright lucious. Good for you!
Thanks, Terry. It feel so good to knock out a solid piece like this and get some validation from my respected peers. That always gets me back to the easel with renewed energy.
